{"id":100093,"date":"2020-04-18T02:25:46","date_gmt":"2020-04-17T20:55:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=100093"},"modified":"2020-04-18T02:25:46","modified_gmt":"2020-04-17T20:55:46","slug":"stranded-migrant-workers-receive-counselling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/04\/18\/stranded-migrant-workers-receive-counselling\/","title":{"rendered":"Stranded migrant workers receive counselling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Stranded-migrant-workers-receive-counselling.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-100109 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Stranded-migrant-workers-receive-counselling.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"280\" \/><\/a>YUPIA, Apr 17:<\/strong> A team of experts from the Mental Health Centre, Midpu, conducted a &#8216;mental and physical counselling session&#8217; for the stranded migrant labourers at the two relief camps here in Papum Pare district on Friday.<br \/>\nThe team, comprising clinical psychologist Nabam Yeni and psychiatrist social workers Dagrik Gara and Poona Baja, sensitized the workers to the implications of Covid-19 during the programme, which was organized by the District Health Society (DHS).<br \/>\nNearly 80 stranded migrant labourers are being sheltered at the two relief camps in Yupia.<br \/>\nDMO, Dr Subu Tasso Kampu, informed that &#8220;some labourers in the two relief camps are having signs and symptoms of much stress and need proper clinical findings and counselling.&#8221;<br \/>\nShe said the DHS is &#8220;leaving no stone unturned in monitoring the health and hygiene of the labourers,&#8221; and is providing them with proper medical check-ups and medicines, apart from awareness on the precautionary measures against Covid-19.<br \/>\nAmong others, DC Pige Ligu, SP Jimmy Chiram, ADC Tabang Bodung, and health workers were present at the counselling session.
