{"id":10029,"date":"2017-11-26T01:04:10","date_gmt":"2017-11-25T19:34:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=10029"},"modified":"2017-11-26T01:04:10","modified_gmt":"2017-11-25T19:34:10","slug":"pinchs-case-handed-over-to-sit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2017\/11\/26\/pinchs-case-handed-over-to-sit\/","title":{"rendered":"Pinch&#8217;s case handed over to SIT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>Staff Reporter<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Nov 25:<\/strong> A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been established to unearth the truth behind former MLA Ngurang Pinch&#8217;s death, informed the police.<br \/>\nPapum Pare Superintendent of Police, T Amo informed that the case has been handed over to the SIT with all relevant documents as per the order of the Police Headquarters on Saturday.<br \/>\nPinch, who was also Chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture marketing Board, was found dead at Hatimatha on November 18 last.<br \/>\nPinch, with an eight-member team had gone for rafting on November 17, and stayed on the river bank near the confluence of Popum and Poma rivers, the police had said.<br \/>\nHowever, Pinch was found missing early in the morning and his body was found floating at Hatimatha in between Basar Nallo and Rana Ghat on the Assam side.<br \/>\nSuspecting foul play in late Pinch&#8217;s death, several organisations had been demanding an SIT and through enquiry to unearth the truth behind his tragic demise.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff Reporter ITANAGAR, Nov 25: A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been established to unearth the truth behind former MLA Ngurang Pinch&#8217;s death, informed the police.
