{"id":10135,"date":"2017-11-27T01:12:25","date_gmt":"2017-11-26T19:42:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=10135"},"modified":"2017-11-27T01:12:25","modified_gmt":"2017-11-26T19:42:25","slug":"tezu-airport-construction-works-progressing-well","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2017\/11\/27\/tezu-airport-construction-works-progressing-well\/","title":{"rendered":"Tezu airport construction works progressing well"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>CM opens Lhagon Jangchup Choeling Monastery <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>TEZU, Nov 26:<\/strong> Construction work of Tezu civilian airport is progressing well and is likely to be completed by September next year.<br \/>\nThe construction work on the runway, boundary walls, parking lot and drainage system of the airport is complete and the work on passenger terminal building is likely to be completed by September, 2018.<br \/>\nThis was informed to Chief Minister Pema Khandu by the officials, when he inspected the ongoing construction of the civilian airport.<br \/>\nDr Mohesh Chai, who accompanied the Chief Minister, briefed him on recurring flood damage by Sukha Nallah flowing near the airport during the monsoon. The river also had caused extensive damage to nearby agriculture farms and villages and sought additional assistance from the state government.<br \/>\nEarlier in the day, the Chief Minister formally opened the Lhagon Jangchup Choeling Monastery at Lama Camp.<br \/>\nPema untied the ceremonial scarf at the entry gate formally opening the monastery. He also inaugurated the newly constructed statue of &#8216;Amitabha&#8217; and &#8216;Tara&#8217;.<br \/>\nThe Chief Minister also attended the enthronement ceremony of His Eminence Lhadrang Chogtrul, Pema Thinley Drodul Rinpoche and prayed for the Rinpoche&#8217;s long life.<br \/>\nLater, at a function organized to celebrate the event, the Chief Minister described the occasion as &#8216;historic&#8217;, &#8216;pious&#8217; and a &#8216;once in a lifetime opportunity&#8217;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CM opens Lhagon Jangchup Choeling Monastery TEZU, Nov 26: Construction work of Tezu civilian airport is progressing well and is likely to be completed by September next year.
