{"id":11171,"date":"2017-12-05T01:19:41","date_gmt":"2017-12-04T19:49:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=11171"},"modified":"2017-12-05T01:19:41","modified_gmt":"2017-12-04T19:49:41","slug":"ashas-backbone-of-primary-health-care-dhs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2017\/12\/05\/ashas-backbone-of-primary-health-care-dhs\/","title":{"rendered":"ASHAs backbone of primary health care: DHS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>NAHARLAGUN, Dec 4:<\/strong> Director of Health Services, Dr M Lego on Monday described the state&#8217;s Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) as the backbone of primary health care, and urged them to remain committed to their duty.<br \/>\nHe was addressing a National Health Mission (NHM)-organized 10-day refresher training of ASHAs for National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) certification, which began at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI) here on Monday.<br \/>\nReminding the ASHAs of the various incentives being provided to them by the government, Dr Lego advised them to remain sincere to their duties and work in coordination with Angadwadi workers and ANMs.<br \/>\nNHM Nodal Officer, Dr D Padung informed that the training was aimed at preparing the ASHAs for appearing in the final theory examination for NIOS certification, while ATI Director, Pate Marik said the NHM and the ATI have signed an MoU with the GoI for conducting ASHAs training at the ATI.<br \/>\nDistrict ASHA Nodal officer, Dr Tania Raju, District Community Mobilizer, Namgey Tsering, and Family Welfare Health Assistant, Arun Bari are the trainers.<br \/>\nPapum Pare DMO, Dr T Khampu and State Community Mobilizer (NHM), Dagyir Esse also attended the inaugural programme.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NAHARLAGUN, Dec 4: Director of Health Services, Dr M Lego on Monday described the state&#8217;s Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) as the backbone of primary health care, and urged them to remain committed to their duty.
