{"id":122924,"date":"2020-04-29T01:37:24","date_gmt":"2020-04-28T20:07:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=122924"},"modified":"2020-04-29T02:34:23","modified_gmt":"2020-04-28T21:04:23","slug":"fallen-trees-disrupt-power-supply-to-3-dists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/04\/29\/fallen-trees-disrupt-power-supply-to-3-dists\/","title":{"rendered":"Fallen trees disrupt power supply to 3 dists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Fallen-trees-disrupt-power-supply-to-3-dists.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-122971 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Fallen-trees-disrupt-power-supply-to-3-dists.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"293\" height=\"412\" \/><\/a>ITANAGAR, Apr 28:<\/strong> Electricity supply through the 132 kv Balipara-Khuppi transmission line tripped at 6 pm on 27 April, triggering disruption of the grid supply to West Kameng, East Kameng and Pakke-Kessang districts.<br \/>\n&#8220;Recharging of the line was attempted at 6:22 pm on the same day, but to no avail,&#8221; Electrical Transmission Circle SE (E) TK Tara informed in a release.<br \/>\n&#8220;The second attempt at 6:29 pm too did not stand,&#8221; he said.<br \/>\nThe SE informed that the NEEPCO, &#8220;the current owner of the transmission line and the associated systems,&#8221; on Tuesday afternoon located the areas where the faults occurred &#8220;in the form of two huge trees falling on the transmission line in the dense jungles near Saddle, in between Sessa and Nechiphu&#8221; in West Kameng district, between towers 142 and 143.<br \/>\n&#8220;It takes two hours of foot trekking to reach the fault location. One of the fallen trees was cleared before the onset of darkness.
