He was appointed as a circle officer in 1986, and posted at Aalo. During a service tenure extending a little over 36 years, Takar served the government in various capacities at Ziro, Seijosa, Doimukh, Koloriang and Balijan.<br \/>\nHe had joined as the Lower Subansiri DC in April 2018 amid the infamous Trans-Arunachal Highway (TAH) compensation controversy, and was instrumental in the project taking off again in 2019, after 12 years of stagnation.<br \/>\nToday, work on the Potin-ANYA Gate (Package 1) and the ANYA Gate-Pamluk (Package 2) stretches of the TAH, as well as the Joram-Koloriang road (Packages 1 and 2) in Lower Subansiri are witnessing tremendous progress.
