{"id":123244,"date":"2020-05-03T03:52:26","date_gmt":"2020-05-02T22:22:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=123244"},"modified":"2020-05-03T03:52:26","modified_gmt":"2020-05-02T22:22:26","slug":"shgs-in-w-siang-producing-handmade-masks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/05\/03\/shgs-in-w-siang-producing-handmade-masks\/","title":{"rendered":"SHGs in W\/Siang producing handmade masks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>AALO, May 2:<\/strong> Members of SHG Kabu Aalo Hiko Primary Level Federation on Saturday handed over 600 homemade masks at a reasonable rate to a team of doctors led by DMO Dr Moli Riba and APDA secretary Dr Olen Tatak here in West Siang district.<br \/>\nThe SHG&#8217;s leader, Ibom Lollen Lomi, said that &#8220;under the APDA&#8217;s &#8216;Mask for all&#8217; campaign, some of the SHG&#8217;s members are engaged in cutting clothes for making masks, and those clothes are being distributed to each household for stitching in the evening.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe womenfolk are doing it despite their preoccupation with sowing paddy in this peak season, she said.<br \/>\nSimilarly, another SHG, Yigikaum Neli Nengo, has produced 200 such masks to be handed over to the APDA soon.<br \/>\n&#8220;Mask-wearing should be made a habit in view of the Covid-19 pandemic,&#8221; the DMO said.<br \/>\nHe congratulated his team of doctors for their campaign for mask-making and physical distancing, while Dr Jumge Padu spelt out the do and don&#8217;ts during the pandemic.
