{"id":123278,"date":"2020-05-03T04:00:16","date_gmt":"2020-05-02T22:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=123278"},"modified":"2020-05-03T04:00:16","modified_gmt":"2020-05-02T22:30:16","slug":"moyong-inaugurates-icus-for-covid-19-patients","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/05\/03\/moyong-inaugurates-icus-for-covid-19-patients\/","title":{"rendered":"Moyong inaugurates ICUs for Covid-19 patients"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Moyong-inaugurates-ICUs-for-Covid-19-patients.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-123290 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Moyong-inaugurates-ICUs-for-Covid-19-patients.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"203\" \/><\/a>PASIGHAT, May 2:<\/strong> Pasighat East MLA Kaling Moyong inaugurated four intensive care units (ICU) for Covid-19 patients at the North Eastern Institute of Folk Medicine (NEIFM) here in East Siang district on Saturday.<br \/>\nThe NEIFM, which was recently designated as the state&#8217;s second Covid-19 hospital, has been upgraded with 37 special beds, medical trolleys, masks, sanitizers, two ventilators, and four ICU beds.<br \/>\nLater, Moyong visited Bakin Pertin General Hospital (BPGH) and inaugurated the ICU there, constructed by the Pasighat PWD division.<br \/>\nExpressing extreme happiness over the opening of the ICUs, Moyong said, &#8220;A long-felt demand of the entire Siang belt and neighbouring Assam has been fulfilled today.&#8221;<br \/>\nDeputy Commissioner Kinny Singh said that BPGH has opened &#8220;a state-of-the art ICU, and the hospital has added several modern healthcare facilities to serve the patients.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe ICU is equipped with artificial respirator, ventilator, cardiac monitor and other equipment to treat serious patients.<br \/>\nAmong others, JDHS Dr D Raina, DMO Dr Kaling Dai and MS Dr YR Darang were present on the occasion.
