{"id":123497,"date":"2020-05-05T03:11:45","date_gmt":"2020-05-04T21:41:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=123497"},"modified":"2020-05-05T03:11:45","modified_gmt":"2020-05-04T21:41:45","slug":"anya-condemns-trespassing-destruction-of-properties-by-assam-officials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/05\/05\/anya-condemns-trespassing-destruction-of-properties-by-assam-officials\/","title":{"rendered":"ANYA condemns trespassing, destruction of properties by Assam officials"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, May 4:<\/strong> The All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) has vehemently condemned the trespassing by Assam&#8217;s forest officials on Arunachal&#8217;s territory at Dullung Ramghat village, in Papum Pare district, on 3 May, and destroying public properties there.<br \/>\nIn a press release, the association said the conduct of the officials of Assam violated the Supreme Court&#8217;s order to maintain the status quo along the interstate boundaries.<br \/>\nStating that the government cannot remain a silent spectator to such incidents, the association demanded that the Arunachal government take up the matter with its Assam counterpart.<br \/>\nAssam&#8217;s forest personnel had earlier stopped the PMGSY road construction at Buka village, in Kimin circle of Papum Pare, on 9 March, and demolished the Kakoi Nyokum Yullo structure on 17 March, it said.<br \/>\n&#8220;After the Buka incident, we had submitted a representation to Home Minister Bamang Felix to take up the matter with the Assam government,&#8221; it said.<br \/>\nThe association urged Chief Minister Pema Khandu to recruit sufficient numbers of forest guards and Arunachal Pradesh Police Battalion personnel, &#8220;so that sufficient force can be deployed in sensitive boundary areas to guard the interstate boundary.&#8221;<br \/>\nIt said Assam&#8217;s police and forest officials make easy entry into Arunachal&#8217;s territory because of inadequate deployment of forest guards and police personnel along the boundary areas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, May 4: The All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) has vehemently condemned the trespassing by Assam&#8217;s forest officials on Arunachal&#8217;s territory at Dullung Ramghat village, in Papum Pare district, on 3 May, and destroying public properties there.
