{"id":129966,"date":"2020-06-30T03:32:16","date_gmt":"2020-06-29T22:02:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=129966"},"modified":"2020-06-30T03:32:16","modified_gmt":"2020-06-29T22:02:16","slug":"geoenpro-says-unable-to-revoke-layoff-citing-financial-instability","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/06\/30\/geoenpro-says-unable-to-revoke-layoff-citing-financial-instability\/","title":{"rendered":"GeoEnpro says unable to revoke layoff, citing financial instability"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>[ Tom Simai ]<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>KHARSANG, Jun 29:<\/strong> In response to a joint memorandum submitted by the Kharsang Circle Unemployed Youth Association, the Tangsa Youth Association, the All Changlang District Students&#8217; Union and the All Tangsa Students&#8217; Union, the management of GeoEnpro Pvt Ltd on Monday expressed its inability to revoke the termination order it issued to 16 of its contractual employees.<br \/>\nAs per reports, the management expressed helplessness, stating that the company would be unable to revoke the termination orders &#8220;due to the company&#8217;s financial instability.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe spokesperson for the four organizations, Munpong Khimhun, who is also<br \/>\nthe Kharsang Circle Unemployed Youth Association president, said that they were disappointed by the lukewarm response of the management with regard to their four-point memorandum.<br \/>\n&#8220;We met with the management today as it was the last day of the ultimatum that we had served, and as a courtesy call.
