{"id":133467,"date":"2020-08-01T03:06:38","date_gmt":"2020-07-31T21:36:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=133467"},"modified":"2020-08-01T03:06:38","modified_gmt":"2020-07-31T21:36:38","slug":"e-kameng-reports-5-new-covid-19ve-cases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/08\/01\/e-kameng-reports-5-new-covid-19ve-cases\/","title":{"rendered":"E\/Kameng reports 5 new Covid-19+ve cases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Staff Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SEPPA, Jul 31:<\/strong> Five fresh Covid-19 positive cases were detected in East Kameng on Friday, taking the district&#8217;s tally to 30.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Informing about this, DC Pravimal Abhishek Polumatla stated during a review meeting that &#8220;all the cases are asymptomatic, and out of 30 cases, two have already recovered.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The district has registered an unprecedented number of positive cases outside quarantine centres, which has alarmed the entire district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The DC informed that aggressive contact tracing is underway and 757 samples have been collected so far.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The team managed to track down 666 people during contact tracing. The samples of 349 primary contacts have been tested; 330 tested negative, and 19 tested positive so far,&#8221; the DC said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is reported that 317 persons are yet to be tested.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The district has so far received 314 returnees since the lockdown was imposed.
