{"id":134593,"date":"2020-08-13T01:57:57","date_gmt":"2020-08-12T20:27:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=134593"},"modified":"2020-08-13T01:57:57","modified_gmt":"2020-08-12T20:27:57","slug":"intl-webinar-on-water-purification-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/08\/13\/intl-webinar-on-water-purification-held\/","title":{"rendered":"Int&#8217;l webinar on water purification held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Correspondent<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PASIGHAT, Aug 12:<\/strong> The department of Physics in Jawaharlal Nehru College here in East Siang district conducted an international webinar on &#8216;Emerging materials and technology for water purification&#8217; on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The webinar was organized to address issues pertaining to the use of emerging materials and technology for water purification for drinking purposes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Around 400 participants joined the webinar, which included professors and experts from different universities and research institutions across the world, besides public health engineers from the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The speakers covered the current emerging materials and technologies for the water purification of water and wastewater treatment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jawaharlal Nehru University&#8217;s School of Environmental Sciences, Prof Dinesh Mohan delivered the keynote address.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">State&#8217;s Chief Engineer of PHE &amp; WS cum Mission Director, Tomo Basar shared a special talk on water purification technologies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vice-Principal Dr SD Choudhury, coordinator Enuk Libang and Rajiv Gandhi University&#8217;s Physics department Prof Sanjeev Kumar also spoke.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Correspondent PASIGHAT, Aug 12: The department of Physics in Jawaharlal Nehru College here in East Siang district conducted an international webinar on &#8216;Emerging materials and technology for water purification&#8217; on Wednesday.
