{"id":13473,"date":"2017-12-22T00:05:41","date_gmt":"2017-12-21T18:35:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=13473"},"modified":"2017-12-22T00:05:41","modified_gmt":"2017-12-21T18:35:41","slug":"ssa-teachers-seek-salary-enhancement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2017\/12\/22\/ssa-teachers-seek-salary-enhancement\/","title":{"rendered":"SSA teachers seek salary enhancement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ITANAGAR, Dec 21: The All Arunachal Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers&#8217; Association (AASSATA) has appealed to the state government to enhance the salary of SSA teachers at the earliest.<br \/>\nIn a four-point memorandum to the chief minister, the association expressed hope that the government would fulfil the promise made by Education Parliamentary Secretary, Pani Taram, to enhance the SSA teachers&#8217; salary and bring it at par with the salary of regular teachers, and to take a decision in this regard in the next cabinet meeting.<br \/>\nThe association also said that APTET\/CTET should not be made mandatory for teachers appointed prior to 2012, since the RTE Act was implemented in Arunachal Pradesh in 2012.<br \/>\n&#8216;The judiciary of other states also declared making the Teacher Eligibility Test mandatory for the in-service teachers appointed prior to the implementation of the RTE Act in the respective states as illegal,&#8217; it said.<br \/>\nOther demands of the association include batch-wise regularization of SSA teachers, and six-month maternity leave for women SSA teachers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Dec 21: The All Arunachal Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers&#8217; Association (AASSATA) has appealed to the state government to enhance the salary of SSA teachers at the earliest.
