{"id":136805,"date":"2020-09-09T01:17:43","date_gmt":"2020-09-08T19:47:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=136805"},"modified":"2020-09-09T01:17:43","modified_gmt":"2020-09-08T19:47:43","slug":"min-visits-entrepreneurs-centres-in-assam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/09\/09\/min-visits-entrepreneurs-centres-in-assam\/","title":{"rendered":"Min visits entrepreneurs&#8217; centres in Assam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Min-visits-entrepreneurs-centres-in-Assam.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-136817 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Min-visits-entrepreneurs-centres-in-Assam.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"472\" height=\"316\" srcset=\"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Min-visits-entrepreneurs-centres-in-Assam.jpg 472w, https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Min-visits-entrepreneurs-centres-in-Assam-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 472px) 100vw, 472px\" \/><\/a>ITANAGAR, Sep 8:<\/strong> Agriculture Minister Tage Taki visited agri-allied entrepreneurs&#8217; facility centres, organic farms, fish breeding centres, and the union government&#8217;s farm and machinery training centres in Biswanath Chariali and nearby areas in Assam to gain firsthand knowledge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accompanied by Agriculture Secretary Bidol Tayeng and the directors of the state&#8217;s agriculture, horticulture, AHV&amp;DD and fisheries departments, the minister also visited Pabhoi Green, an organic agriculture and fishery hub developed by entrepreneur Neelam Dutta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The minister and his entourage also visited the Centre-owned farm machinery training and testing institute in Biswanath Chariali, and interacted with the scientists there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team, led by Sotia MLA Padma Hazarika, also visited the Kanyaka integrated farm in Jamugurihat, which is an integrated agriculture, horticulture, piggery, dairying and fisheries breeding farm operated by a trust and supported by 400 SHGs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team visited all the sectors of the 2,000 bigha integrated farm, and interacted with the workers and farmers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team also visited the scientific piggery farm in Dhekidol (Ghoramari), managed and owned by entrepreneur Manoj Basumotary, who has left a high-paying job in the SBI to become an entrepreneur in the piggery sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The minister interacted with the entrepreneur and discussed all aspects of piggery development in the region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Taki gave assurance that his department would work on piggery development through the PPP mode in Arunachal, in collaboration with the entrepreneurs in Assam.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The AHV&amp;DD director invited Basumotary to visit Arunachal and share his experiences with the piggery farmers of the state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Sep 8: Agriculture Minister Tage Taki visited agri-allied entrepreneurs&#8217; facility centres, organic farms, fish breeding centres, and the union government&#8217;s farm and machinery training centres in Biswanath Chariali and nearby areas in Assam to gain firsthand knowledge.
