{"id":140853,"date":"2020-10-30T01:24:27","date_gmt":"2020-10-29T19:54:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=140853"},"modified":"2020-10-30T01:24:27","modified_gmt":"2020-10-29T19:54:27","slug":"cs-asks-banks-not-to-keep-loan-applications-pending","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/10\/30\/cs-asks-banks-not-to-keep-loan-applications-pending\/","title":{"rendered":"CS asks banks not to keep loan applications pending"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Oct 29:<\/strong> Chief Secretary (CS) Naresh Kumar on Thursday advised the bankers in the state not to keep applications pending at the banks for a long time, clear the applications within two weeks, &#8220;and sanction within December 2020.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chairing a state level monitoring committee meeting on the Prime Minister&#8217;s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) here, Kumar also gave assurance that he would &#8220;request the government of India for additional target.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arunachal Pradesh Khadi &amp; Village Industries Board (APKVIB) Chairman Dominic Tadar, who also attended the meeting, requested the KVIC to provide more fund\/scheme to the APKVIB &#8220;for successful implementation in the districts,&#8221; while Industries Secretary Hage Tari presented<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">a brief on the status of the PMEGP. He also suggested to the bankers to clear the pending applications, and spoke on the importance of the PMEGP.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Guwahati (Assam)-based NEZ CEO Dr S Deb made a PowerPoint presentation on the new guidelines of the PMEGP, and the SBI regional manager assured to sanction the pending PMEGP applications at the earliest possible and to &#8220;achieve 100 percent target.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">State KVIC Director AP Chobin said several projects have been implemented in the state besides the PMEGP.
