\nHe visited a few villages in the district, including Beye Ngomdir, Ngomdir, Doji Jeli,Eyi and Logum Jini on September 1 and 2 and addressed a series of public meetings.
\nRijiju said the government has already released the second installment of fund for Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) road from Ngomdir to Beye (7 km). He assured to place additional fund during this financial year for road widening and various other purposes related to road construction.
\nHe further assured that the agency concerned will be directed to prepare a DPR for an alternative from Piri Sago to Ngomdir. He, however, said this will take some time for initiation.
\nResponding to various memoranda submitted by the villagers, he assured to sanction a community dere (hall) during the current financial year at Beye Ngomdir and RCC community Dere at Ngomdir village.
\nThe union minister also laid the foundation stone of Mother’s Vision De-Addiction and Rehabilitation Centre at Hikargumin, Aalo on September 2.
\nLater, he visited the General Hospital, Aalo where he flagged off an ambulance and inaugurated X-ray machines and other medical equipment provided under the CSR scheme. (DIRPO)<\/p>\n
