{"id":145228,"date":"2020-12-13T01:07:47","date_gmt":"2020-12-12T19:37:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=145228"},"modified":"2020-12-13T01:07:47","modified_gmt":"2020-12-12T19:37:47","slug":"one-arrested-for-rape-of-minor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/12\/13\/one-arrested-for-rape-of-minor\/","title":{"rendered":"One arrested for rape of minor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Staff Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 12 Dec:<\/strong> One Janjam Wangsu (24) was arrested by the Longding police on 9 December for the alleged rape of a 10-year-old girl in Longding district headquarters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to police sources, the incident occurred on 6 December and was reported to the police on 9 December by the family of the minor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reportedly, the minor was traumatized and on persistent enquiry informed her parents about the incident, who then informed the police.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wangsu was reportedly a frequent visitor to the complainant&#8217;s house.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The accused was arrested on the same day (9 December) and is currently under judicial custody.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;A case has been registered under Section 376 IPC and Section 4 of the POCSO Act.
