{"id":146253,"date":"2020-12-25T00:14:30","date_gmt":"2020-12-24T18:44:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=146253"},"modified":"2020-12-25T00:14:30","modified_gmt":"2020-12-24T18:44:30","slug":"nabard-launches-ledp-in-namsai-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/12\/25\/nabard-launches-ledp-in-namsai-2\/","title":{"rendered":"NABARD launches LEDP in Namsai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NAMSAI, 24 Dec:<\/strong> NABARD DDM Kamal Roy launched an &#8216;Azolla-based livelihood enterprise and development programme (LEDP)&#8217; here on Thursday in the presence of ArSRLM staff, the Mahadevpur Livestock FPO, SHGs promoted by the ArSRLM, and members of the Namsai Organic Spices and Agricultural Products (NOSAAP) Farmers-Producers Company (FPC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The project will focus on skill development training on cultivation of azolla and its value addition to 150 selected members of SHGs and livestock FPO members,&#8221; Roy informed in a release.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project is being implemented by the NOSAAP FPC in collaboration with the ArSRLM and the Namsai KVK.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Azolla is a freshwater fern that thrives in ponds, lakes, swamps, and streams in both tropical and subtropical conditions.
