{"id":146359,"date":"2020-12-27T01:49:22","date_gmt":"2020-12-26T20:19:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=146359"},"modified":"2020-12-27T01:49:22","modified_gmt":"2020-12-26T20:19:22","slug":"brahmaputra-aamantran-abhiyaan-expedition-reaches-ramsing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/12\/27\/brahmaputra-aamantran-abhiyaan-expedition-reaches-ramsing\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Brahmaputra Aamantran Abhiyaan&#8217; expedition reaches Ramsing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 26 Dec:<\/strong> The river rafting expedition &#8216;Brahmaputra Aamantran Abhiyaan&#8217; reached Ramsing at 12 noon on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team, comprising eight rafters in two rafts with four local guides, started from Cherring halt point on Saturday at 8:45 am and reached Ramsing by 12 noon, an NDRF release said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team will halt at the Ramsing camp site on Saturday as per the schedule.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Union MoS (Independent) for Youth Affairs &amp; Sports Kiren Rijiju had flagged off the expedition from the Mayum hanging bridge in Gelling in Upper Siang district on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event is an initiative of the Brahmaputra Board under the Centre&#8217;s jal shakti ministry, with support of the state governments of Arunachal and Assam and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Two NDRF battalions are involved in the expedition.
