{"id":147970,"date":"2021-01-22T01:39:37","date_gmt":"2021-01-21T20:09:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=147970"},"modified":"2021-01-22T01:39:37","modified_gmt":"2021-01-21T20:09:37","slug":"protest-rally-taken-out-over-chinese-incursion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/01\/22\/protest-rally-taken-out-over-chinese-incursion\/","title":{"rendered":"Protest rally taken out over Chinese incursion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>[ Karda Natam ]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>DAPORIJO, 21 Jan:<\/strong> Various youth and other organizations took out a protest rally here in Upper Subansiri district on Thursday to protest China&#8217;s reportedly building infrastructure within Indian territory.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The organizations included the All Tagin Youth Organization (ATYO), the AGCVF, the All Giba Circle Vigilance Forum and the New Market Welfare Association (NMWA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At least 500 people joined the protest, during which an effigy of the Chinese president was burnt by the slogan shouting protestors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ATYO president Damkesh Maying and NMWA chairman Tamin Guha termed the act of China &#8220;illegal&#8221; and expressed resentment over the development of infrastructure in Indian territory.
