{"id":153162,"date":"2021-03-16T03:18:28","date_gmt":"2021-03-15T21:48:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=153162"},"modified":"2021-03-16T03:18:28","modified_gmt":"2021-03-15T21:48:28","slug":"lokhande-revisits-bamboosa-library-after-14-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/03\/16\/lokhande-revisits-bamboosa-library-after-14-years\/","title":{"rendered":"Lokhande revisits Bamboosa Library after 14 years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>TEZU, 15 Mar:<\/strong> Finance Commissioner Prashant Lokhande on Sunday visited Bamboosa Library here in Lohit district, which he had inaugurated more than a decade ago, after a gap of 14 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lokhande, a founder patron of the Lohit Youth Library Movement, had inaugurated the library in 2007 in the presence of the then MLA Karikho Kri.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Interacting with the senior library volunteers, library administrator Bapenlu Kri and others in the library, Lokhande recalled his last visit to the library in May 2007.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Thank you, Uncle Moosa and dedicated volunteers,&#8221; he said, adding that &#8220;we are committed to bring in library movement in Arunachal.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lokhande informed that the state government will observe 2021 as the &#8216;Year of education&#8217;, and that libraries would be an integral part of it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Senior activist Solina Kambrai said: &#8220;Prashant was the one who helped us during the pandemic when we were stuck in Tamil Nadu for almost two months.
