{"id":155553,"date":"2021-04-07T02:05:11","date_gmt":"2021-04-06T20:35:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=155553"},"modified":"2021-04-07T02:05:11","modified_gmt":"2021-04-06T20:35:11","slug":"teacher-accuse-police-of-non-action-on-alleged-assault-by-dc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/04\/07\/teacher-accuse-police-of-non-action-on-alleged-assault-by-dc\/","title":{"rendered":"Teacher accuse police of non action on alleged assault by DC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Staff Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 6 Apr:<\/strong> The senior teacher Pagrik Sora, who was reportedly assaulted by West Siang Deputy Commissioner Moki Loyi on 21 March last after an altercation over a parking issue at Aalo town, has alleged that the police are yet to initiate any action on the FIR filed by him against the DC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Talking to this daily, Sora alleged that &#8220;the police have neither recorded his statement nor that of the eyewitness till now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;While the police have not initiated any action, there are attempts to intimidate me and eyewitnesses. I am being mentally tortured,&#8221; alleged Sora. He also alleged that attempts have also been made to make him compromise the case.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;This is not my fight alone. I am fighting for the dignity of every self-respecting human being. No one deserves to be humiliated and assaulted the way I was done. I appeal to the authorities to immediately initiate action based on my FIR,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sora had submitted the FIR on 21 March, in which he accused the DC of assaulting him at the market in broad daylight over a petty parking issue.
