{"id":156375,"date":"2021-04-20T00:53:45","date_gmt":"2021-04-19T19:23:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=156375"},"modified":"2021-04-20T00:53:45","modified_gmt":"2021-04-19T19:23:45","slug":"nabard-plp-for-namsai-launched-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/04\/20\/nabard-plp-for-namsai-launched-2\/","title":{"rendered":"NABARD PLP for Namsai launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NAMSAI, 19 Apr:<\/strong> NABARD District Development Manager (Tirap, Longding, Changlang and Namsai) Kamal Roy presented a copy of the potential linked credit plan (PLP) 2021-22 for Namsai district to Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein here on Monday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mein lauded the activities initiated by the NABARD to support and nurture farmers-producers organizations in the state, and underscored the need to promote local value-added products as well as handloom products of the districts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The DCM suggested making the NOSAAP the implementing agency for the mini food processing unit for Khamti lahi rice, vegetable items and spices in Namsai.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Roy briefed the DCM on the PLP, and on the rural mart to be established in Kongmukham to promote local value-added products as well as handloom products. Mein was informed that a rural haat is proposed to be set up in Mahadevpur-II for the NOSAAP by the NABARD.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Roy informed about using untied funds to provide training to SHGs, and about procurement of finished products for the institutions and government departments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Roy also apprised the DCM of the tribal development fund proposed to be implemented in Namsai.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other topics discussed included handlooms and potential projects to be implemented by the Tai Khamti Heritage and Literary Society through the MSME.
