{"id":15651,"date":"2018-01-10T01:14:43","date_gmt":"2018-01-09T19:44:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=15651"},"modified":"2018-01-10T01:14:43","modified_gmt":"2018-01-09T19:44:43","slug":"state-level-residential-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/01\/10\/state-level-residential-training\/","title":{"rendered":"State level residential training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>NAHARLAGUN, Jan 9:<\/strong> GNMs and ANMs from across the state are participating in a two-day state level residential training on &#8216;Baseline assessment for competency staff of GNMs and ANMs&#8217; which began here on Tuesday.<br \/>\nDuring the programme, organized by the State Health Society, the GNMs and ANMs will receive training from a host of resource persons including MCH Nodal Officer Dr Tana Natung, Deputy Director (Nursing) Kijum Karga, and Arunachal State Nursing School Principal Boa Yanya Tao.<br \/>\nNational Health Mission (NHM) State Programme Officer (Training), Dr T Taku, informed that if a trainee fails to secure 50 per cent marks during post-course evaluation, their training will be nullified. He requested the resource persons to guide the trainees &#8220;and polish them to be able to shine in their field of work.&#8221;<br \/>\nNHM Mission Director, Dr Tapasya Raghav, said that she observed &#8220;non-usage of partograph by nurses during her field visits,&#8221; and expressed disappointment over it.<br \/>\nReminding the participants of the low ANC coverage in the state, Dr Raghav urged the nurses to &#8220;stress more on ANC.&#8221; She also insisted on &#8220;checking haemoglobin levels,&#8221; which she said was not being done at health facilities.<br \/>\nA daylong programme on &#8216;Gentamicin injection for ANMs&#8217; will be held here on 11 January in continuation of the training.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NAHARLAGUN, Jan 9: GNMs and ANMs from across the state are participating in a two-day state level residential training on &#8216;Baseline assessment for competency staff of GNMs and ANMs&#8217; which began here on Tuesday.
