{"id":158543,"date":"2021-05-16T02:40:59","date_gmt":"2021-05-15T21:10:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=158543"},"modified":"2021-05-16T19:46:24","modified_gmt":"2021-05-16T14:16:24","slug":"tsd-seeks-lockdown-in-ziro-hapoli-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/05\/16\/tsd-seeks-lockdown-in-ziro-hapoli-area\/","title":{"rendered":"TSD seeks lockdown in Ziro-Hapoli area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ZIRO, 15 May:<\/strong> The Tanw Supun Dukun (TSD) on Saturday urged the Lower Subansiri district administration to impose lockdown in the Ziro-Hapoli area to break the chain of &#8216;community transmission&#8217; of Covid-19.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The TSD said it made the proposal in consultation with all other sister organizations, ZPMs, market committees, etc, in view of the rapid surge in Covid-19 cases, particularly in the Ziro-Hapoli area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In its representation to the DC, the TSD said that the lockdown should be imposed for at least a week, if not 14 days, &#8220;to restrict the movement of vulnerable people by giving at least two to three days&#8217; time in advance for necessary preparedness and convenience of the people.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It also urged the DC to strictly monitor all the entry gates to the district and regulate the movement of goods and commuters from containment zones and other Covid-19 affected areas, apart from intensifying the contact tracing drive, testing and treating patients, and vaccinating the people in all the villages, sectors and other localities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ZIRO, 15 May: The Tanw Supun Dukun (TSD) on Saturday urged the Lower Subansiri district administration to impose lockdown in the Ziro-Hapoli area to break the chain of &#8216;community transmission&#8217; of Covid-19.
