{"id":15916,"date":"2018-01-12T02:02:20","date_gmt":"2018-01-11T20:32:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=15916"},"modified":"2018-01-12T02:02:20","modified_gmt":"2018-01-11T20:32:20","slug":"cm-launches-adarsh-gram-yojana-at-kombo-tarsu-village","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/01\/12\/cm-launches-adarsh-gram-yojana-at-kombo-tarsu-village\/","title":{"rendered":"CM launches Adarsh Gram Yojana at Kombo Tarsu village"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>AALO, Jan 11:<\/strong> Chief Minister Pema Khandu launched the Chief Minister&#8217;s Adarsh Gram Yojana at Kombo Tarsu village, located 15 kms from here, in West Siang district, on Thursday.<br \/>\nEarlier, the chief minister also inaugurated the circle office at Kombo.<br \/>\nLater, addressing a public meeting at the village&#8217;s football ground, the chief minister informed that the newly inaugurated circle office has been made fully functional with the sanction of required number of manpower.<br \/>\nThe circle office was first notified in 2012.<br \/>\nCongratulating the people of Kombo Tarsu for being chosen as Adarsh Gram, Pema appealed for efficient use of funds. He said, as per Adarsh Gram Yojana, each constituency receives Rs 1.5 crore. He suggested dovetailing of schemes to take maximum benefit from other rural development schemes for improving the infrastructure in the village.<br \/>\nPema said that the state government is focusing on improving work culture and to generate resources on its own so that dependency on New Delhi can be reduced.<br \/>\nHe said that several reforms are on cards and informed that his team of officials has already started the work to bring out several such policies to curb corruption and to bring in transparency and efficiency.<br \/>\nHe appealed to the district administration for making regular surprise checks to see if works are being executed as per norms or not.<br \/>\nOn the one-point memorandum submitted by the village committee, the chief minister assured to start funding for CC pavement of roads for Kombo circle from this financial year.<br \/>\nDeputy Speaker Tumke Bagra, Tourism Parliamentary Secretary PD Sona, WCD Parliamentary Secretary Gojen Gadi, SYA Parliamentary Secretary Nyamar Karbak, APEDA Chairman Jarkar Gamlin, and MLAs Pakgna Bage and Kardo Nyigyor were present on the occasion.<br \/>\nThe CM later inaugurated the government ANM school at Aalo, and inspected the school compound. He interacted with the teaching faculty on classroom teaching methods, syllabi, and facilities.<br \/>\nThe inauguration was followed by inspection of the district hospital, where Pema interacted with the medical officials to take stock of current staff position and facilities.<br \/>\nHe also assessed the infrastructure readiness and other facilities to develop the hospital into a zonal hospital.<br \/>\nInteracting with the medical officials, he informed that the state government is currently focused on health reforms.<br \/>\n&#8220;The state government is attempting to meet the shortage of doctors and specialists,&#8221; he said, and informed that new posts of specialists and medical officers are being created. &#8220;for which recruitment will be conducted soon.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe chief minister also visited and inspected the government higher secondary school in Aalo.<br \/>\nThe CM informed the students that to bring quality education, the state government has abolished the no-detention policy, and said that such reforms are for good of the students.<br \/>\nHe further announced that the state government will fully fund for a new school building, as the current one has outgrown its life. He said the state government will replace old and worn-out school buildings with new RCC buildings in phases.<br \/>\nHe also informed that from the next academic session, subject teachers&#8217; shortage will be met as the state government has created more than 1300 posts of teachers.
