{"id":16181,"date":"2018-01-14T01:19:40","date_gmt":"2018-01-13T19:49:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=16181"},"modified":"2018-01-14T01:19:40","modified_gmt":"2018-01-13T19:49:40","slug":"udid-would-ensure-benefits-reach-targeted-person-bamel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/01\/14\/udid-would-ensure-benefits-reach-targeted-person-bamel\/","title":{"rendered":"UDID would ensure benefits reach targeted person: Bamel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NAHARLAGUN, Jan 13:<\/strong> &#8220;The Unique Disability ID (UDID) programme, initiated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, would ensure that benefits reach every differently-able person in the country judiciously with implementation of social welfare schemes through the nodal department&#8221;, said UDID Implementing Manager, Sanjay Bamel.<br \/>\nHe said this during the valedictory function of a two-day orientation training programme on \u2018Unique ID for Persons with Disabilities\u2019 at the Administrative Training Institute, here on Saturday.<br \/>\nOrganized by the Social Justice &amp; Empowerment and Tribal Affairs department in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Justice &amp; Empowerment, the training was attended by nodal officers and officials of the health and social welfare departments.<br \/>\nThe UDID implementing manager further said that the project of &#8216;Unique ID for Persons with Disabilities&#8217; will also help in streamlining the tracking of physical and financial progress of beneficiaries at all levels of hierarchy of implementation- from village, block, district, state and national levels.<br \/>\nEarlier, during the inaugural day of the programme on Friday last, the Secretary of Social Justice &amp; Empowerment and Tribal Affairs (SJE&amp;TA) advised the participants to make proper implementation of the project for the benefit of differently- able persons in the society, while Director of Social Justice &amp; Empowerment and Tribal Affairs, Yumlam Kaha urged them to avail maximum advantage of the training.<br \/>\nDoctors, coordinators, DDs, CDPO (ICDS), data entry operators and other officials &#8211; from the Health Services, Women and Child Development and SJETA departments -representing all districts attended the training.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NAHARLAGUN, Jan 13: &#8220;The Unique Disability ID (UDID) programme, initiated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, would ensure that benefits reach every differently-able person in the country judiciously with implementation of social welfare schemes through the nodal department&#8221;, said UDID Implementing Manager, Sanjay Bamel.
