{"id":164366,"date":"2021-06-24T02:17:35","date_gmt":"2021-06-23T20:47:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=164366"},"modified":"2021-06-24T02:17:35","modified_gmt":"2021-06-23T20:47:35","slug":"convict-escapes-from-court-room-arrested-after-rigorous-search-operation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/06\/24\/convict-escapes-from-court-room-arrested-after-rigorous-search-operation\/","title":{"rendered":"Convict escapes from court room; arrested after rigorous search operation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>KHONSA, 23 Jun:<\/strong> A convict, who escaped from the JMFC court on 21 June, was arrested by the Tirap police on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Offender Noktey Ruttum of Old Paniduria fled the court room to escape detention on being convicted when the court was pronouncing the judgement in C\/W Deomali PS case No. 05\/2017 U\/s 448\/384\/506 IPC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After receiving the information from the court, Tirap SP Kardak Riba alerted all the police stations of the district.\u00a0 The police under supervision of Riba also tightened the &#8216;naka checking&#8217; and conducted\u00a0 rigorous search operation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Later, acting on intelligence sources, two police teams led by\u00a0 Inspector W Kamhua and SI O Ronrang started combing operations from two opposite ends in general area of Engineer Colony, Medical Colony and<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Patkai Colony on 22 June, and apprehended Noktey Ruttum from a place between Engineering Colony and Medical Colony.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The escapee was produced in the Court of JMFC, and lodged in judicial custody.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A fresh case U\/s 224 IPC has been registered against the convict N Ruttum.
