{"id":164800,"date":"2021-06-29T01:10:54","date_gmt":"2021-06-28T19:40:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=164800"},"modified":"2021-06-29T01:10:54","modified_gmt":"2021-06-28T19:40:54","slug":"fmd-outbreak-in-tato-circle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/06\/29\/fmd-outbreak-in-tato-circle\/","title":{"rendered":"FMD outbreak in Tato circle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MECHUKA, 28 Jun:<\/strong> More than 50 mithuns are reported to be suffering from foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) in Tato circle of Shi-Yomi district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The outbreak had been reported a couple of months back in East Kameng and Kurung Kumey districts, and it spread to West Siang and Shi-Yomi districts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The veterinary &amp; animal husbandry department of Shi-Yomi is bracing through a tough time in treating the infected animals. Veterinary &amp; Animal Husbandry Minister Tage Taki has called for declaring<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">the outbreak as an emergency, and sought reports of daily activities to contain the disease from spreading further.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A veterinary team comprising District Veterinary &amp; Animal Husbandry Officer Dr Jummo Ete and paravets are involved in the treatment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team has been assured of availability of medicines wherever needed.
