{"id":16596,"date":"2018-01-18T01:59:29","date_gmt":"2018-01-17T20:29:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=16596"},"modified":"2018-01-18T01:59:35","modified_gmt":"2018-01-17T20:29:35","slug":"all-wards-under-imc-get-sanitation-vehicle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/01\/18\/all-wards-under-imc-get-sanitation-vehicle\/","title":{"rendered":"All wards under IMC get sanitation vehicle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Jan 17:<\/strong> Sixteen new sanitation vehicles for Itanagar Municipal Council (IMC) were distributed among different wards.<br \/>\nWith these additional vehicles, all the 30 wards would have dedicated vehicles for garbage disposal.<br \/>\nThis was informed by Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner, Prince Dhawan at a city level \u2018Swachh Survekshan\u2019 workshop held at the Deputy Commissioner\u2019s office here on Wednesday.<br \/>\nAdditionally, each subdivision of the IMC, consisting of five wards would have a dedicated vehicle for highway cleaning and a heavy duty excavator each.<br \/>\nThe DC further stated that new dustbins have been procured which would be distributed to enable segregation of wastes into dry and wet wastes at individual household level.<br \/>\nAll the waste collection points in the city would have two dustbins marked with different colours for wet and dry waste. Separate garbage bags of two separate colours would also be made available for household segregation of waste.<br \/>\nThe DC appealed to the public to cooperate in keeping the city clean and participate in the \u2018Swachh Survekshan 2018\u2019.<br \/>\nHe also requested the public to pay civic charges and segregate wastes at household level.<br \/>\nDetails of the \u2018Swachh Survekshan\u2019 may be accessed on the website \u2018www.itanagar.nic.in\u2019. Citizens have also been requested to download the Swachhata application from the Pay Store.<br \/>\nThe workshop was attended by councillors, chief municipal executive officer, administrative officers of Itanagar Capital Complex, assistant engineers and officials of IMC, besides various NGOs engaged in sanitation activities.
