{"id":166137,"date":"2021-07-13T01:51:18","date_gmt":"2021-07-12T20:21:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=166137"},"modified":"2021-07-13T01:51:18","modified_gmt":"2021-07-12T20:21:18","slug":"mla-reviews-covid-19-situation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/07\/13\/mla-reviews-covid-19-situation\/","title":{"rendered":"MLA reviews Covid-19 situation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>AALO, 12 Jul:<\/strong> Aalo East MLA Kento Jini reviewed the Covid-19 situation in West Siang district with the district administration, the health department and other stakeholders on Monday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Expressing concern over the spike in Covid-19 cases in the district, the MLA sought the opinions of all the stakeholders &#8220;in order to tackle the menace.&#8221; He stressed on taking &#8220;measures laid down under the guidelines of the disaster management authority to check the spread of the virus.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Deputy Commissioner Moki Loyi said that lockdown cannot be recommended unless immediately warranted, as per the guidelines, because it brings all activities to a halt in the district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said that measures like &#8220;imposition of curfew from 4 pm, declaration of areas as micro-containment zones, import of new labourers from outside, plying of vehicles on odd-even basis, ban on parties and intensification of patrolling&#8221; will soon be implemented after seeking government approval in certain cases.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Covid-19 nodal officer Liyi Bagra, DMO Dr Moli Riba and DSO Dr Jombom Kato also spoke.
