{"id":166655,"date":"2021-07-18T01:52:32","date_gmt":"2021-07-17T20:22:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=166655"},"modified":"2021-07-18T01:52:52","modified_gmt":"2021-07-17T20:22:52","slug":"dc-asks-drug-addict-govt-employees-to-undergo-treatment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/07\/18\/dc-asks-drug-addict-govt-employees-to-undergo-treatment\/","title":{"rendered":"DC asks drug-addict govt employees to undergo treatment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>CHARJU, 17 Jul:<\/strong> Tirap DC Taro Mize has asked drug-addict government employees to admit to their addiction before their respective heads of department without any hesitation and undergo treatment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mize said that he has submitted a proposal to the SJETA for establishing one more drug de-addiction-cum-rehabilitation centre in Deomali, and that his proposal has been recommended to the Centre by the SJETA special secretary for approval.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The DC was addressing a meeting organized to mark the completion of one year of Care Me Home Drugs De-addiction-cum-Rehabilitation Centre (CMHDDACRC) here in Tirap district on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The DC also inaugurated a 63 kva mini power substation specially meant for the de-addiction centre here, which he said would also benefit the power consumers of Charju area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mize said the new transformer for the mini substation has been procured with money from the DC&#8217;s untied fund after several complaints<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0were received from the public to improve the voltage quality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also launched the website www.caremehome.in, of the CMHDDACRC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CMHDDACRC chairperson Sontung Bangsia informed that some drug-addict government employees are currently undergoing treatment at the de-addiction centre and they are temporarily lodged at the Charju primary school.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;So far, 66 patients out of 88 have fully recovered and discharged from the centres,&#8221; informed Dr Chelo Pumao.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bari-Basip CO Nekong Perme, WCD Deputy Director Hacham Bangsia, DHO T Bam, Lamsa-Katang ZPM Tediap Hallang, chief of Bunting Sanyak Lowang, district BJP president Kamrang Tesia and engineers of the power department attended the meeting.
