He also motivated the students to grow medicinal plants for health benefits, and demonstrated the basics of Ayurveda.<br \/>\nRARI RO (Botany) Dr Siddamallaya explained the properties of cereals, food grains, pulses and spices used in home remedial properties, and motivated the students to grow more cereals and aromatic plants in their kitchen gardens.<br \/>\nFormer AAPSU president Kanu Bagang, who was the chief guest of the event, shared his personal health problems with students and advised them to live healthy lives.<br \/>\nThe school&#8217;s principal, B Bam lauded the RARI for taking the initiative to educate the people of Seppa on such healthy habits.<br \/>\nTechnical staff from the RARI examined students and provided free consultation, free medicine and counselling.<br \/>\nOut of the 173 patients, 39 were found to be anaemic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SEPPA, Jan 21: The Itanagar-based Regional Ayurvedic Research Institute (RARI) conducted a &#8216;health and hygiene awareness and medical camp&#8217; on 18 January at the government higher secondary school here in East Kameng district.
