{"id":16908,"date":"2018-01-22T01:19:43","date_gmt":"2018-01-21T19:49:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=16908"},"modified":"2018-01-22T01:19:43","modified_gmt":"2018-01-21T19:49:43","slug":"cm-flags-off-22-nvbdcp-vehicles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/01\/22\/cm-flags-off-22-nvbdcp-vehicles\/","title":{"rendered":"CM flags off 22 NVBDCP vehicles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Jan 21:<\/strong> Chief Minister Pema Khandu flagged off 22 programme vehicles under the NVBDCP at the legislative assembly complex here on 19 January.<br \/>\nThe vehicles were supplied by the union health &amp; family welfare ministry under IMCP 3, with funding from the Global Fund against TB, AIDS and Malaria.<br \/>\nThe chief minister expressed gratefulness to the ministry for providing 22 programme vehicles, 48 bikes and scooters, and 120 high-quality Olympus microscopes for successful implementation of the NVBCDP in the state.<br \/>\nHe also congratulated the state Health department for achieving the goal of less than 1 API (Annual Parasite Index) and zero death during 2017.<br \/>\nEarlier, NVBDCP State Programme Officer, Dr A Yirang gave a brief account on the status of malaria in the state during 2013 to 2017, and informed about the objective of the H&amp;FW department in eliminating malaria by 2025.<br \/>\nAmong others, PHE&amp;WS Minister Bameng Felix, H&amp;FW Parliamentary Secretary Phurpa Tsering, and senior officers of the Health department attended the flagging-off ceremony.<br \/>\nIn the afternoon, Additional Director of NVBDCP, Dr Avdesh Kumar attended the valedictory function of three-day review meeting of the NVBCDP in the state.
