{"id":170413,"date":"2021-08-29T02:40:26","date_gmt":"2021-08-28T21:10:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=170413"},"modified":"2021-08-29T02:40:26","modified_gmt":"2021-08-28T21:10:26","slug":"meeting-with-banks-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/08\/29\/meeting-with-banks-held\/","title":{"rendered":"Meeting with banks held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>AALO, 28 Aug:<\/strong> West Siang DC Moki Loyi said that the banking institution has a pivotal role in providing loans to beneficiaries and conducting recovery drives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Addressing a district level consultative meeting on the functioning of all the banks falling under the lead bank office here on Friday, the DC exhorted all the banks in the district to &#8220;play proactive roles to enhance their level of performance.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The chief lead bank manager enumerated the activities and functioning of the district&#8217;s banks, and stressed on &#8220;mitigating yearly targets set by the government.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The heads of offices attending the meeting urged the banks to assist in timely sanctioning of various loans to the selected beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On-time updating of government account passbooks, and provision for making sitting arrangement and separate counters for senior citizens and disabled persons were also discussed in the meeting.
