{"id":171811,"date":"2021-09-15T02:40:50","date_gmt":"2021-09-14T21:10:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=171811"},"modified":"2021-09-15T02:40:50","modified_gmt":"2021-09-14T21:10:50","slug":"orgs-submit-memorandum-raising-various-demands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/09\/15\/orgs-submit-memorandum-raising-various-demands\/","title":{"rendered":"Orgs submit memorandum raising various demands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Staff Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 14 Sep:<\/strong> A group of organizations, comprising the Nyishi Ethnic Students of Arunachal (NESA), the Arunachal People Front, the Pro-Dam Movement of Arunachal Pradesh, the Anti-Corruption Foundation, the Anti-Corruption Crime Control Committee of Arunachal Pradesh and the Arunachal Justice Forum<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">has submitted a joint memorandum to the state government, placing a series demands.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a press conference held here on Tuesday, the organizations demanded that the government relocate the Chakma and Hajong refugees from Arunachal at the earliest, and sought a written assurance from the state government regarding relocating the refugees from the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking on behalf of the organizations, NESA president Biri Chatum also urged the government to resolve the Assam-Arunachal boundary issue. &#8220;Both the states are currently governed by the BJP.
