{"id":172448,"date":"2021-09-23T00:37:45","date_gmt":"2021-09-22T19:07:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=172448"},"modified":"2021-09-23T00:37:45","modified_gmt":"2021-09-22T19:07:45","slug":"45-bjp-mps-across-india-have-kin-in-politics-assam-congress-lawmaker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/09\/23\/45-bjp-mps-across-india-have-kin-in-politics-assam-congress-lawmaker\/","title":{"rendered":"45 BJP MPs across India have kin in politics: Assam Congress lawmaker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Guwahati, Sep 22 (PTI) Assam&#8217;s Rajya Sabha MP Ripun Bora on Wednesday presented a list of 45 BJP lawmakers in both Houses whose kin are in politics, asserting that the saffron party has no right to slander the Congress, and particularly the Gandhi-Nehru family, over &#8220;dynastic politics&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Congress lawmaker claimed that the grand old party does not have that many MPs whose family members are in politics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Defence Minister Rajnath Singh&#8217;s son Pankaj Singh is an MLA in Uttar Pradesh, while Union ministers Anurag Thakur, Piyush Goyal and Dharmendra Pradhan&#8217;s fathers were either former chief ministers or central ministers.
