{"id":17312,"date":"2018-01-25T01:01:15","date_gmt":"2018-01-24T19:31:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=17312"},"modified":"2018-01-25T01:01:15","modified_gmt":"2018-01-24T19:31:15","slug":"seven-persons-feared-dead-in-road-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/01\/25\/seven-persons-feared-dead-in-road-accident\/","title":{"rendered":"Seven persons feared dead in road accident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>[ Karyir Riba ]<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>ROING, Jan 24:<\/strong> Seven people are feared dead and four others injured, two of them seriously, in a road accident near Mayudia this morning.<br \/>\nThe accident occurred at around 9:30 am when an SUV (Bolero) with 11 passengers (bearing registration number AS 23Q 1088) fell into a deep gorge, some 2 kms on the way to Mayudia.<br \/>\nThe driver of the vehicle reportedly lost control while negotiating a sharp turn to avoid another vehicle approaching from the opposite direction .<br \/>\nThe grievously injured passengers, identified as driver Mintu Ali (26) and Samsad Saikia (21) have been referred to Dibrugarh for further medical attention.<br \/>\nTwo other persons, Wasim Akram (27) and Mujahid Islam (22) are said to be in stable condition and are undergoing treatment at the district hospital in Roing.<br \/>\nSeven other passengers: Ashid Ansari (19), Parvez Khan (20), Ansar Ahmad (30), Anwar Husain (22), Irshad Husain (20), Amir Husain (20), and Nausad Saikia (21) are feared dead.<br \/>\nThe rescue operation is hampered as the accident site is hard to reach.
