{"id":177592,"date":"2021-11-24T01:43:27","date_gmt":"2021-11-23T20:13:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=177592"},"modified":"2021-11-24T01:43:27","modified_gmt":"2021-11-23T20:13:27","slug":"field-prog-on-black-gram-conducted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/11\/24\/field-prog-on-black-gram-conducted\/","title":{"rendered":"Field prog on black gram conducted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>DEOMALI, 23 Nov:<\/strong> Altogether 52 farmers and agricultural extension functionaries participated in a &#8216;field day&#8217; programme on &#8216;Varietal demonstration of black gram, Variety: PU-31&#8217;, conducted here by the Tirap KVK on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the programme, the KVK&#8217;s agronomy scientist Dr Simanta Kumar Kalita explained the different aspects of scientific cultivation of black gram, especially the PU-31 variety, and integrated weed and pest management techniques.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The participants were taken to the KVK&#8217;s demonstration plots and shown the superior results of scientific cultivation of black gram.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">KVK scientists also provided answers to queries raised by the participants on cultivation of field and horticultural crops.
