{"id":179014,"date":"2021-12-11T02:26:04","date_gmt":"2021-12-10T20:56:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=179014"},"modified":"2021-12-11T02:26:04","modified_gmt":"2021-12-10T20:56:04","slug":"awareness-prog-on-accreditation-of-large-cardamom-nursery-conducted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/12\/11\/awareness-prog-on-accreditation-of-large-cardamom-nursery-conducted\/","title":{"rendered":"Awareness prog. on accreditation of large cardamom nursery conducted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>HAYULIANG, 10 Dec:<\/strong> The ICAR-KVK Anjaw in collaboration with the directorate of arecanut and spices development (DASD) under union ministry of agriculture and farmer&#8217;s welfare conducted an awareness\u00a0 programme on &#8216;accredited large cardamom nursery in Anjaw district&#8217; on 8 December.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Director of Kerala based DASD Dr. Homey Cheriyan, in his address, elucidated about the benefits of quality planting material and better productivity of large cardamom.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sharing his experience of field visit in Chaglagam circle, he encouraged participants to come forward to adopt good cultivation practice and quality planting materials by establishing &#8216;accredited sucker nursery&#8217; locally.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Anjaw deputy commissioner Talo Jerang gave emphasis on importance of awareness-cum-training programme conducted by KVK in collaboration with directorate of Arecanut and Spices.
