{"id":17918,"date":"2018-01-31T01:07:49","date_gmt":"2018-01-30T19:37:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=17918"},"modified":"2018-01-31T01:07:49","modified_gmt":"2018-01-30T19:37:49","slug":"retired-dmo-passes-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/01\/31\/retired-dmo-passes-away\/","title":{"rendered":"Retired DMO passes away"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Jan 30:<\/strong> Retired district medical officer, Dr Bomjum Kamki breathed his last on Monday at a hospital in Dibrugarh, Assam, following a brief illness.<br \/>\nHis body was brought to his native village Kamki, in West Siang district, on Monday night.<br \/>\nDr Kamki completed his MBBS from Silchar Medical College, Assam, in the late &#8217;70s, and earned his Masters in Hospital Administration from North Carolina University, USA.<br \/>\nAfter joining government service, Dr Kamki served as MO in different places of Arunachal Pradesh. He retired as West Siang DMO a few years back.<br \/>\nThe Hirik Hiru Students&#8217; Union deeply mourned the demise of the senior member of society.<br \/>\nDescribing his death as an irreparable loss to the society, the union said the void created by his demise cannot be filled.
