{"id":179893,"date":"2021-12-21T02:17:51","date_gmt":"2021-12-20T20:47:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=179893"},"modified":"2021-12-21T02:17:51","modified_gmt":"2021-12-20T20:47:51","slug":"cm-inaugurates-handloom-textile-centre-at-naharlagun-rly-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/12\/21\/cm-inaugurates-handloom-textile-centre-at-naharlagun-rly-station\/","title":{"rendered":"CM inaugurates handloom &#038; textile centre at Naharlagun rly station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 20 Dec:<\/strong> Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Sunday inaugurated a handloom &amp; textile centre at the Naharlagun railway station.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The inauguration was done after the flagging-off of two Vistadome train services between Guwahati and Naharlagun and Naharlagun and Tinsukia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The NF Railway has opened the centre for sale of handloom and textile products at the railway station to boost the local economy and to provide opportunities to local artisans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;These initiatives will help the textile and handloom artisans to sell their products and to attain self-sufficiency,&#8221; the NF Railway said in a release on Monday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;With a huge number of footfalls at railway stations, it will help spreading local products, cultural heritage throughout the globe,&#8221; the release said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and union MoS for Railways &amp; Textiles Darshana Jardosh also inaugurated a similar handloom &amp; textile centre at the Guwahati railway station on the same day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, 20 Dec: Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Sunday inaugurated a handloom &amp; textile centre at the Naharlagun railway station.
