{"id":180472,"date":"2021-12-28T01:21:23","date_gmt":"2021-12-27T19:51:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=180472"},"modified":"2021-12-28T01:21:23","modified_gmt":"2021-12-27T19:51:23","slug":"training-in-oyster-mushroom-cultivation-imparted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2021\/12\/28\/training-in-oyster-mushroom-cultivation-imparted\/","title":{"rendered":"Training in oyster mushroom cultivation imparted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>DEOMALI, 27 Dec:<\/strong> Twenty-five farmers are participating in a training of trainers skill training programme on oyster mushroom cultivation, organized by the Tirap KVK here on Monday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">KVK Head Dr Narendra Kumar informed the farmers that &#8220;cultivation of edible oyster mushroom variety is simple and economical in rural areas where the raw material and facilities required are easily available.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Marketing of fresh oyster mushroom does not pose any problem at present due to very low production,&#8221; he said, adding that commercial cultivation of oyster mushroom would be profitable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Among the cultivated mushrooms, Pleuratus has maximum number of commercially cultivated species suitable for round-the-year cultivation,&#8221; Dr Kumar said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plant protection scientist Pura Hano made a presentation on oyster mushroom cultivation technology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Each farmer was given half a kg of oyster mushroom spawns to practice cultivating them at home.
