{"id":181591,"date":"2022-01-12T02:31:46","date_gmt":"2022-01-11T21:01:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=181591"},"modified":"2022-01-12T02:31:46","modified_gmt":"2022-01-11T21:01:46","slug":"acci-to-conduct-imwa-election","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/01\/12\/acci-to-conduct-imwa-election\/","title":{"rendered":"ACCI to conduct IMWA election"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Staff Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 11 Jan:<\/strong> The Itanagar Capital Region deputy commissioner has notified the Arunachal Chamber of Commerce &amp; Industries (ACCI) to conduct the election of the Itanagar Market Welfare Association (IMWA) before 20 January.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Addressing a press conference at the press club here on Tuesday, ACCI general secretary Toko Tatung informed that the enrollment for the election will begin on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;However, considering the reoccurrence of Covid-19 situation in the state, the ACCI will try its best to conduct the election and announce the results before the Republic Day celebration,&#8221; Tatung said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The enrollment process has been kept very simple, with requirements like a valid trading licence, GST certification of the business association, and location of the business association in the jurisdiction of Itanagar,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tatung further informed that only the shopkeepers and owners of business establishments on either side of NH 415 are supposed to enrol themselves for the election &#8220;to avoid invalid application, as the shops in the sectors usually do not obtain a trading license of GST certification, and so far three parties have been approved for the upcoming election.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff Reporter ITANAGAR, 11 Jan: The Itanagar Capital Region deputy commissioner has notified the Arunachal Chamber of Commerce &amp; Industries (ACCI) to conduct the election of the Itanagar Market Welfare Association (IMWA) before 20 January.
