{"id":181593,"date":"2022-01-12T02:33:29","date_gmt":"2022-01-11T21:03:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=181593"},"modified":"2022-01-12T02:33:29","modified_gmt":"2022-01-11T21:03:29","slug":"nes-urges-anya-to-withdraw-bandh-call","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/01\/12\/nes-urges-anya-to-withdraw-bandh-call\/","title":{"rendered":"NES urges ANYA to withdraw bandh call"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 11 Jan:<\/strong> The Nyishi Elite Society (NES) has appealed to the All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) to call off its proposed 36-hour capital bandh from 13 January, saying that the issue being taken up by the association is not a (Nyishi) community issue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The NES maintained that it would &#8220;not be responsible for any untoward incidents due to involvement of antisocial elements or external forces during the proposed bandh,&#8221; and urged the ANYA and the state government to sort out their issues through dialogue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;We hope that (ANYA president) Byabang Joram being a matured youth leader of the community and also the former ANSU president shall definitely take positive decision in the greater interest of the community in particular and the state as a whole,&#8221; the NES said in a press release.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It said that it had held discussions with the ANYA twice last month and had advised the ANYA leadership to<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">not take up the corruption charges against the chief minister as a community issue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Issues that are not related to the sentiment and interest of the community should not be taken up without social sanction of the community,&#8221; the NES had told the ANYA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The NES had also advised the ANYA to rethink its decision and said that, &#8220;if the situation warrants, the NES will make its stand clear to the people in future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;But despite our suggestions, the ANYA declared a 36-hour capital bandh from 13 January,&#8221; the NES said, clarifying its stand.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, 11 Jan: The Nyishi Elite Society (NES) has appealed to the All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) to call off its proposed 36-hour capital bandh from 13 January, saying that the issue being taken up by the association is not a (Nyishi) community issue.
