{"id":182104,"date":"2022-01-20T01:45:02","date_gmt":"2022-01-19T20:15:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=182104"},"modified":"2022-01-20T01:45:02","modified_gmt":"2022-01-19T20:15:02","slug":"aka-field-50-strong-contingent-for-youth-games-all-india-national-championship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/01\/20\/aka-field-50-strong-contingent-for-youth-games-all-india-national-championship\/","title":{"rendered":"AKA field 50-strong contingent for Youth Games All India National Championship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 19 Jan:<\/strong> Arunachal Karate Do Association (AKA) has fielded a 50-strong contingent for the Youth Games All India National Championship, 2022 to be held in Goa on 22 and 23 January.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arunachal will participate in the boys&#8217; and girls&#8217; u-17, u-19 and above 19 years categories.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sensei Rakesh Gamnu and Sensei Prakash Limbu are the manager and coach of the team.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AKA president Hanshi Likha Tara, along with technical chairman Shihan S Dehen Sharma and technical director Dr Marli Ette briefed the karatekas about the tournament and encouraged them to perform up to their potentials and bring laurels to the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tara advised the players to practice hard with dedication, saying that &#8220;there is no shortcut to success.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also said that the 25th Aka State Level Karate Championship will be organized along with the golden jubilee celebration of AKA in March, if the Covid situation improves.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team was scheduled to leave here for Goa Wednesday night.
