{"id":186276,"date":"2022-03-12T01:08:11","date_gmt":"2022-03-11T19:38:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=186276"},"modified":"2022-03-12T01:08:11","modified_gmt":"2022-03-11T19:38:11","slug":"sic-arrests-one-more-engineer-in-pmgsy-road-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/03\/12\/sic-arrests-one-more-engineer-in-pmgsy-road-case\/","title":{"rendered":"SIC arrests one\u00a0 more engineer in PMGSY road case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 11 Mar:<\/strong> The Special Investigation Cell (SIC) on Friday arrested Pangin RWD AE Tasi Messar in connection with SIC Case No 01\/2021, dated 03\/02\/2021, u\/s 120 (B)\/409\/420\/468\/471 IPC 1860 r\/w Section 13 (2) of the PC Act, 1988.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In an official statement, SIC SP Dr Hemant Tiwari informed that further investigation into the Komsing-Kumku to Sissen PMGSY road project case led to the arrest of the AE.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He will be produced in the court of the special judge (PC Act) in Yupia on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Investigation of the present case is in progress and necessary action will be taken against all the offenders,&#8221; added the SP.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, on 28 February, Leparada RWD Executive Engineer Yimo Geyi was arrested by the SIC in connection with the case.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On 5 March, the SIC also arrested former Kaying RWD division junior engineer Tobing Lego, and the contractor of the Komsing-Kumku to Sissen PMGSY road, Obang Gao.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The construction of the road involved expenditure of approximately Rs 35 crores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A technical board was constituted by the Siang district administration to evaluate the progress of the work.
