{"id":187968,"date":"2022-04-03T02:19:33","date_gmt":"2022-04-02T20:49:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=187968"},"modified":"2022-04-03T02:19:33","modified_gmt":"2022-04-02T20:49:33","slug":"training-progs-on-agri-allied-activities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/04\/03\/training-progs-on-agri-allied-activities\/","title":{"rendered":"Training progs on agri, allied activities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>RAGA, 2 Apr:<\/strong> The Kamle district agriculture officer conducted a series of training programmes on agriculture and allied activities under the Agricultural Technology Management Agency at Dokum, Tumporijo and Repari villages from 31 March to 2 April.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the programmes, ADO (SMAE) Koj Horming highlighted the need to adopt improved crop technologies, the potential for off-season crop production, improving the farmers&#8217; income, and &#8220;turning the areas into vegetable production hubs with respect to increasing demand of the horticultural crops in the region.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ATM Duyu Monya dwelt on low-cost protected cultivation of vegetables and the techniques thereof, while ATM Hibu Yam spoke on the ethno-medicinal plants of Arunachal Pradesh and their uses and preservation, and ATM Hage Aku spoke on integrated pest management of Mandarin orange.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Field demonstration of different methods and techniques of propagation of horticultural crops was also conducted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Around 150 farmers benefitted from the programmes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RAGA, 2 Apr: The Kamle district agriculture officer conducted a series of training programmes on agriculture and allied activities under the Agricultural Technology Management Agency at Dokum, Tumporijo and Repari villages from 31 March to 2 April.
