{"id":188308,"date":"2022-04-08T02:34:08","date_gmt":"2022-04-07T21:04:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=188308"},"modified":"2022-04-08T02:34:08","modified_gmt":"2022-04-07T21:04:08","slug":"tirap-dhs-conducts-sensitisation-prog-celebrates-whd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/04\/08\/tirap-dhs-conducts-sensitisation-prog-celebrates-whd\/","title":{"rendered":"Tirap DHS conducts sensitisation prog, celebrates WHD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>KHONSA, 7 Mar:<\/strong> The Tirap District Health Society (DHS) organised a sensitisation programme on heat-related illness and death, with the theme &#8216;Our planet our health&#8217;, for government officers, including medical officers and health workers, under the National Programme for Climate Change &amp; Human Health (NPCCHH), here on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The programme coincided with the celebration of the World Health Day (WHD).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">DC (in-charge) Kretkam Tikhak and ZPC Chathong Lowang in their speeches appealed to one and all to preserve and protect the forests to save the environment from climate change and global warming.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nodal officer Dr Palash Rakshit made a presentation on heat-related illness, while District Epidemiologist Dr Nyamnyok Bangyang conducted a technical session for all MOs and health workers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, DMO Dr N Lowang presented a brief on the programme under the NPCCHH, and on the World Health Day.
