{"id":188466,"date":"2022-04-10T01:52:39","date_gmt":"2022-04-09T20:22:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=188466"},"modified":"2022-04-10T01:52:39","modified_gmt":"2022-04-09T20:22:39","slug":"blood-donation-camp-organised-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/04\/10\/blood-donation-camp-organised-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Blood donation camp organised"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 9 Apr:<\/strong> Twenty-eight units of blood were collected during a voluntary blood donation camp organised by Care Club, in association with the Arunachal Sociological Forum, at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health &amp; Medical Sciences in Naharlagun on Friday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Besides the members of the club, students and faculty members of the<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0sociology departments of Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunodaya University and the Himalayan University donated blood.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The camp was organised to mark the completion of 23 years of the club&#8217;s establishment, as well as to motivate the people to donate blood.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The camp was organised with support from the State Blood Transfusion Council.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr Bikash Bage from RGU and Dr Tailyang Sirah from Don Bosco College, Itanagar inaugurated the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ASF president Raja Darang highlighted &#8220;the significance of sociology discipline in shaping the society,&#8221; and requested the state government to introduce sociology in all government colleges &#8220;and formalise it in all the schools of the state in starting the discipline in the formative age of students.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, 9 Apr: Twenty-eight units of blood were collected during a voluntary blood donation camp organised by Care Club, in association with the Arunachal Sociological Forum, at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health &amp; Medical Sciences in Naharlagun on Friday.
